The European Light Rail Congress 2026 was held in Tenerife on 11 and 12 March, featuring global industry experts sharing insights on efficiency, sustainability and energy-saving initiatives, as well as sharing exciting news about growth in tram and light rail systems across Europe. TSC staff attended the event, which was a mixture of presentations, panel discussions, technical tours and free interchange. The event provided an opportunity for about 200 leaders in the industry to share lessons learnt and discuss shared challenges in industry.
